Afcons Infrastructure Ltd, a part of the Shapoorji Pallonji group, has announced securing orders valued at ₹884 crore in November for civil infrastructure works under its marine and industrial business unit.
The contracts, which fall under the engineering, procurement, and construction (EPC) category, were booked across the marine and industrial BU during the month.
In October this year, Afcons Infrastructure bagged a contract worth about ₹576 crore (including GST) for civil and allied infrastructure works.
Afcons Infrastructure has received an inspection letter under Section 206(5) of the Companies Act, 2013, from the office of the regional director (RD), western region, Ministry of Corporate Affairs (MCA).
Afcons said it believes its legal position is robust and intends to vigorously defend the matter.
The company stated that it shall appropriately respond to the RD letter.
Shares of Afcons Infrastructure Limited ended at ₹409.60, up by ₹5.25, or 1.30%, on the BSE today.
