Stock Exchanges to Conduct Live Trading on Union Budget Day

The leading stock bourses, NSE and BSE, have announced that they will conduct live trading sessions on Sunday, February 1, when Union Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman will present the Union Budget.

NSE Trading Schedule:

The pre-open market will start at 9:00 a.m. and end at 9:08 a.m.
The normal market will function between 9:15 a.m. and 3:30 p.m.

The NSE has issued a circular to investors stating that the live trading session will be conducted as per standard timings "on account of the presentation of the Union Budget".

BSE Trading Schedule:

February 1 has been declared as a "special trading day" by the exchange.
The markets shall remain open for regular trading hours.

The BSE has also issued a similar circular for investors, mirroring the NSE's announcement.
