Market regulator Sebi has given its approval to ICICI Prudential Asset Management Company (AMC) for its initial public offering (IPO) estimated at around Rs 10,000 crore.

About the IPO

The IPO of the country’s second-largest mutual fund will be an entirely offer-for-sale (OFS) issue by UK-based Prudential Corporation Holdings (PCH).
The share sale is expected to hit the market in the second half of December.
The IPO is likely to value the AMC at over Rs one lakh crore, placing it among the largest listings from the financial-services sector.

The AMC’s quarterly average Assets Under Management (AUM) was Rs 8.79 lakh crore as of March 2025.
