Man held for alleged online fraud
A special squad of the Kozhikode city cyber police station arrested a Thiruvananthapuram native who allegedly secured around ₹75.45 lakh after cheating a Kozhikode native with a fake stock market investment scheme.
The accused, K. Raj Kamal, was nabbed on Wednesday (October 15, 2025) on a complaint received by the cyber police through their official helpline number (1930). The police said the 38-year-old was exposed following an examination of bank documents and online transaction details. A team of officers led by Inspector K.K. Agesh and Sub-Inspector T.M. Vinod Kumar were part of the investigation.
