Gujarat Victory Forgings has filed its draft red herring prospectus (DRHP) with market regulator Sebi for its initial public offering (IPO), which will comprise a fresh issue of 65 lakh shares and an offer for sale of 1.32 crore shares by promoter Vijendrakumar Bishamber Gupta.

The Vadodara-based company aims to use the fresh issue proceeds to finance the capital expenditure requirements towards expansion of its existing Unit III at Vadodara by increasing the manufacturing capacity of copper cathodes. It will also use the funds for pre-payment or re-payment of a portion of some borrowings, along with general corporate purposes.
Monarch Networth Capital and Nirbhay Capital Services are the book-running lead managers to the issue. KFin Technologies meanwhile will be the registrar to the offer. The price band and the total offer size are yet to be announced.
Gujarat Victory Forgings is engaged in the manufacturing of non-ferrous metal products through the processing and recycling of metal scrap. It produces high-purity copper cathodes, copper tubes and pipes, copper rods, copper busbars, brass tubes, as well as copper-based master alloys which are used in several sectors such as power infrastructure, automotive, construction and renewable energy.
Gujarat Victory Forgings reported a net profit of Rs 22.59 crore for the financial year 2025, marking a sharp increase from the Rs 10.12 crore net profit reported in the previous financial year. The firm’s revenue from operations meanwhile increased from Rs 511.15 crore in FY24 to Rs 607.65 crore in FY25.

The Indian metals manufacturer was founded by Vijendra Kumar Gupta, with a focus on copper extruded products and master alloys, which expanded in the early 2000s. The company operates two manufacturing units across Manjusar, Savli, Vadodara. The facilities offer advanced recycling and refining technologies, including spent catalyst recycling and electro-refining processes, to produce high-quality materials like LME-grade A copper cathodes.
The company has a global customer base, supplying to markets in Africa, the Middle East, Southeast Asia, East Asia, and Australia. In its DRHP, the company said that it has plans to expand production capacity significantly while targeting both domestic and export growth.
