The Deputy Commissioner of Doda, Harvinder Singh, led a high-level meeting in the conference hall of the DC Office Complex to assess the progress of development works under the District Capex Plan.

Review of Progress and Plans

• A sector-wise and constituency-wise presentation was made by concerned departments to inform about proposed works, works tendered, allotted, and taken up.
• The meeting discussed the completion status of previous year works and the financial status of the same.

Review of Flagship Initiatives

• The Deputy Commissioner also reviewed the closure of works on the BEAMS/PV Portal and constituency-wise status of works under CDF.
• Progress under several flagship initiatives, including SASKI Projects, the Heritage Programme, and Dharti Aabha, was also reviewed.

Review of UT Capex and NABARD Projects

The meeting covered projects undertaken under UT Capex and NABARD, with officers presenting detailed work-wise and road-wise status reports across multiple sectors.

Call for Expedited Action

Deputy Commissioner Harvinder Singh emphasized the need to expedite the pace of pending works, complete allotted projects within set timelines, and ensure financial discipline and transparency in execution.
