Tracking the momentum, the 30-share BSE Sensex also surged sharply, rising as much as 0.41% to touch its own lifetime high of 86,159. The Nifty Bank joined the rally, hitting a new record peak of 60,114 in early trade. Recommended Stories The Nifty 50 climbed 120 points, or 0.46%, to a record high of 26,326, just days after scaling its previous peak of 26,310.45 on November 27.
