The Wealth Company Mutual Fund, part of Pantomath Group, has launched Specialised Investment Fund under WSIF and announced its maiden NFO of two investment strategies -- Equity Long-Short and Equity Ex-Top 100 Long-Short.
The two investment strategies combines long-term equity investing with tactical short exposure with an aim to capture market upside while managing downside risks. The minium investment in each strategies is ₹10 lakh per PAN number.
The WSIF Equity Long-Short Fund aims to generate long-term capital appreciation through a diversified portfolio of equities complemented by selective short positions.
The investment strategy will maintain equity allocation of 80–100 per cent with flexibility to take up to 25 per cent unhedged short exposure via derivatives.
The WSIF Equity Ex-Top 100 Long-Short Fund focuses on opportunities beyond the top 100 companies by market capitalization. It will minimum of 65 per cent allocation to mid and small cap stocks, complemented by limited long-short flexibility.

In Ex-Top 100 strategy there are strong opportunity set in the broader market where inefficiencies may be more pronounced, he said.
