Chennai: State govt has announced the sale of bonds worth 3,000 crore through auction, to be conducted by Reserve Bank of India (RBI) on Sept 2, 2025 at its Fort Mumbai office. The issue will comprise 1,000 crore each in 2-year, 9-year and 30-year bonds, according to an official notification. Bidding will take place through RBI's core banking solution (E-Kuber) system. Competitive bids may be submitted between 10.30am and 11.30am, while non-competitive bids will be accepted between 10.30am and 11am on the day of the auction. The bond sale is part of state's market borrowing programme for the current financial year.tnn
