Sedemac Mechatronics’ initial public offering (IPO) opened for subscription on March 4 and will close on March 6. The company is tapping into the primary market with an IPO worth Rs. 1,087.45 crore purely through offer-for-sale (OFS) of 8 million shares.
If the issue is fully subscribed, selling shareholders are set to make multi-fold profits from the issue. Manish Sharma and Ashwini Amit Dixit are offering a part of their stake as promoters of the company, among other early investors.
Sedemac Mechatronics IPO: Price Band
The price band for the public issue has been fixed at Rs. 1,287-1,352 per share. To apply for the issue in the primary market, the minimum lot size is 11 shares. Retail investors have to invest a minimum of Rs. 14,872 based on the upper end of the price band to apply for the issue.
After the issue window closes on March 6, the share allotment of the issue is expected to be finalised on March 9. The shares of the company is expected to make its debut on the stock exchanges on March 11.
Sedemac Mechatronics IPO: Subscription Status
So far on the first day of the issue window, investors across classes have subscribed to 7 per cent of the shares on offer, applying for 4,02,743 shares. Qualified institutional buyers (QIBs) have subscribed 19 per cent of their quota, applying for 312,785 shares so far.
Retail individual investors have applied for 78,694 shares so far, booking for only 3 per cent of the shares reserved for them. Non-institutional investors (NIIs) have booked only 7,359 shares, amounting to just 1 per cent of their quota.

As per multiple websites, Sedemac Mechatronics is expected to issue at a discount on the stock exchanges. The latest grey market premium (GMP) of the issue was at Rs. 1,349, which is Rs. 3 lower than the upper end of the price band in the primary market.
Sedemac Mechatronics: Key Financials
During the first nine months of the financial year 202-2026, the company earned Rs. 770.66 crore as operating revenue, and a profit after tax of Rs. 71.50 crore. In FY25, the company reported a net profit of Rs. 47.05 crore on an operating revenue of Rs. 65.84 crore.
