Power transmission infrastructure EPC company Om Power Transmission's IPO on April 13 closed with a decent 3.33 times subscription as all categories of investors participated in the offer.
The company approached capital markets with the aim to raise up to Rs 150.06 crore via initial public offering (IPO) at the upper end of price band of Rs 166-175 per share. The offer comprises fresh issue of 75.75 lakh shares worth Rs 132.56 crore, and an offer-for-sale of 10 lakh shares worth Rs 17.5 crore by promoters.
The IPO attracted bids for 1.99 crore equity shares in three days of subscription period against the offer size of 60.02 lakh shares. Non-institutional investors bid 7.06 times their allotcated quota, while the parts set aside for qualified institutional buyers and retail investors were subscribed 3.65 times, and 1.54 times, respectively.
Om Power Transmission will finalise IPO share allotment by April 15, while the shares will be available for trading on the bourses effective April 17.

Its IPO shares traded at around 1 percent premium in the grey market, the market observers said.
Gujarat-based Om Power Transmission that executes high-voltage and extra-high voltage transmission lines, substations and underground cabling projects on a turnkey basis along with operation and maintenance (O&M) services will utilise Rs 11.2 crore of proceeds from fresh issue for purchase of machinery and equipment, and Rs 25 crore for repayment of debt.
Further, Rs 55 crore amount will be used for its long-term working capital requirement, and the remainder funds for general corporate purposes.
The company that operates as an EPC service provider in the power transmission infrastructure segment has unexecuted order book of 58 projects amounting to Rs 744.6 crore, including 51 EPC projects and 7 O&M contracts as of December 2025.
