Gaming and esports company NODWIN Gaming has appointed Arnd Benninghoff, executive vice president of gaming at Modern Times Group (MTG), to its board of directors as the company begins a pre-IPO fundraising round and prepares for a public listing.
The Gurugram-based firm said the fundraising round will include a mix of primary capital issuance to support global expansion through organic growth and strategic acquisitions, along with a secondary share sale to provide liquidity to existing shareholders.

The move comes as NODWIN reports improving financial performance. The company said it has returned to EBITDA profitability and recorded a 42% year-on-year revenue growth, reaching $58.5 million in revenue in the first nine months of FY2026.

Benninghoff brings over a decade of experience in the global gaming and media sectors. At MTG, he leads the group’s strategic investments and portfolio development in gaming. His previous roles include chief digital officer at ProSiebenSat.1 Media, managing director at SevenVentures, and CEO of Holtzbrinck eLAB.
“I have long admired NODWIN Gaming’s trajectory and its ability to build community-first ecosystems in some of the world’s most dynamic markets,” Benninghoff said, adding that he looked forward to supporting the company’s next phase of growth.
Commenting on the appointment, Akshat Rathee said Benninghoff’s experience in digital media and strategic investments would help the company scale its intellectual properties and expand globally.
NODWIN said it has also appointed UBS as lead advisor for both the pre-IPO fundraising round and the eventual public listing.

The company has been expanding its international footprint through acquisitions and partnerships. Recently, it acquired StarLadder, known for producing major esports events including Counter-Strike: Global Offensive and Dota 2 tournaments.
NODWIN is also a strategic marketing partner for the Evolution Championship Series (EVO) and manages major gaming and youth culture properties such as DreamHack India and Comic Con India.
