Nandita Sinha, the chief executive officer of Myntra, is set to step down and will exit the company in the coming weeks, according to a Moneycontrol report citing people familiar with the matter.
Sinha, who has been with the Flipkart group since 2013, is also expected to move on from the Walmart-owned company. The firm has already begun the process of identifying her successor, with a decision likely in the coming days, the report said.
Sharon Pais, currently leading Flipkart Fashion and a former chief business officer at Myntra, is seen as the frontrunner to take over the top role, report added.
Sinha’s next move remains unclear. Responding to queries, a Flipkart spokesperson said the company does not comment on market speculation.
Her exit comes at a crucial juncture, ahead of Flipkart’s planned IPO later this year. Myntra remains a key pillar within the group, competing with players such as Amazon Fashion, AJIO, Nykaa Fashion and Meesho.
