Shareholder Lock-In: Shares worth nearly ₹20,800 crore of these three firms will free up on Monday
Barring Physicswallah, shares of both Tenneco Clean Air and Aadhar Housing Finance are trading significantly above their respective IPO price.

Three companies — Tenneco Clean Air India Ltd., Physicswallah Ltd., and Aadhar Housing Finance Ltd., will see their respective shareholder lock-in period end on on Monday, May 18. As of Thursday's closing price, the value of those shares if worth nearly ₹21,000 crore.
It is important to note that these shares will only become eligible to trade in the open market, it does not necessarily mean that they will be traded.

Tenneco Clean Air India
As many as 22.89 crore shares of Tenneco Clean Air India Ltd., or 57% of its outstanding equity, will free up for trade on Monday. As per the previous closing price, these shares are worth ₹13,825.56 crore, and garner a lion's share of the three companies whose lock-in will end on Monday.
Shares of Tenneco Clean Air India made their stock market debut in November 2025, listing a premium of 27% in comparison to its issue price. Currently, the stock is up over 50% from its issue price of ₹397 apiece.
Physicswallah
A total of 25.94 crore shares of Physicswallah or 9% of its outstanding equity will become eligible to trade in the open market on Monday. As per its previous closing price, those shares are worth ₹2,905.28 crore.
The Physicswallah stock listed on the stock exchanges at a 36% premium to its issue price in November 2025 before selling off and even slipping below those levels. Currently, the stock is just 3% higher than its issue price of ₹109 apiece.
Aadhar Housing Finance
The shareholder lock-in will end for 8.57 crore shares of Aadhar Housing Finance or 20% of its outstanding equity on Monday. According to its last closing price, these shares are worth ₹4,069 crore.
The stock listed flat on the stock exchanges in May 2024 in comparison to its issue price. Currently, the stock has gained around 50% from its issue price of ₹315 apiece.
