Shares of ICICI Lombard General Insurance Company will be in focus on Thursday, April 16, after the company reported a steady set of Q4 FY26 numbers.
Profit after tax (PAT) rose 7.3% to ₹547 crore, compared to ₹510 crore in the same quarter last year. On a reported basis, PAT came in at ₹539 crore, up 15.6% year-on-year.
Profit before tax (PBT) increased 7.5% YoY to ₹718 crore in Q4 FY26, versus ₹668 crore a year ago. The combined ratio improved to 101.2% in Q4 FY26 from 102.5% in Q4 FY25, indicating better underwriting discipline and cost control, although it remained above the breakeven mark of 100%.
The company maintained a strong balance sheet, with a solvency ratio of 2.67x as of March 31, 2026, well above the regulatory requirement of 1.50x. However, this was marginally lower than 2.69x as of December 31, 2025, due to mark-to-market losses in its equity portfolio.

The board has recommended a final dividend of ₹7 per equity share, at a 70% payout, for FY26, subject to shareholder approval at the upcoming AGM. The dividend will be paid to eligible shareholders after approval.
