Kolkata-based defence PSU Garden Reach Shipbuilders & Engineers Ltd on Tuesday (April 28), posted a 24% YoY rise in net profit for Q4FY26 at ₹303.19 crore against ₹244.2 crore.
Revenue for the quarter increased 29% to ₹2,119 crore from ₹1,642 crore in the corresponding period last year. EBITDA rose 61% to ₹355 crore in Q4, compared with ₹221 crore a year earlier. The EBITDA margin stood at 16.8% versus 13.4% in the same quarter last year.
The board of directors recommended a final dividend of ₹6.70 per equity share for the financial year 2025-26. The dividend recommendation is subject to approval of shareholders at the ensuing annual general meeting (AGM) of the company. Garden Reach Shipbuilders said the final dividend will be paid within 30 days from the date of its declaration at the 110th AGM.

Commander PR Hari (retd), Chairman and Managing Director, Garden Reach Shipbuilders & Engineers Ltd, said, "FY26 marks a landmark year for GRSE wherein our robust physical performance has been translated into strong financial results. During the year, we delivered eight warships, which means a ship every one & a half months, a credible achievement by any standards. We intend to maintain the tempo in the years ahead through capability enhancement, new technology adoption and calibrated business diversification."
Shares of Garden Reach Shipbuilders & Enginers Ltd ended at ₹2,875.30, up by ₹21.80, or 0.76%, on the BSE today, April 28.
