Fertiliser company Chambal Fertilisers and Chemicals Ltd on Thursday (May 14) reported a 29.8% year-on-year rise in consolidated net profit at ₹169.3 crore for the fourth quarter, compared with ₹130.4 crore in the same period last year.
Revenue increased 13.7% to ₹2,785 crore from ₹2,448.7 crore in the corresponding quarter. EBITDA surged 56.1% to ₹255.1 crore from ₹163.4 crore a year earlier, while the EBITDA margin expanded to 9.2% from 6.7% in the year-ago period.

The company’s board of directors recommended a final dividend of ₹6 per equity share of ₹10 each, equivalent to 60%. The dividend will be paid within the prescribed time after the conclusion of the next annual general meeting, subject to shareholder approval.
