Bulk deals
The following bulk deals took place on both exchanges on May 6. At close, the Sensex was up 940.73 points or 1.22 percent at 77,958.52, and the Nifty was up 298.15 points or 1.24 percent at 24,330.95.
Astonea Labs
Swati Agarwala sold 1.05 lakh shares (1 percent) at Rs 166 per share. Haryana-based Astonea Labs is engaged in contract manufacturing of pharmaceutical and cosmetic products for companies. At close, the stock was trading at Rs 172, around 7 percent higher. Prior to the sale, she held around 2.6 percent stake.
Gravity India
Akalpya India Equity Fund bought 50,000 shares (0.06 percent) at Rs 16.51 per share. At close, the stock was trading at Rs 16.51, around 5 percent higher. The Mumbai-based company deals with manufacturing synthetic furnishing fabrics.
NITCO
Mathew Cyriac bought 20 lakh shares at Rs 95.05 per share. At close, the stock was trading at Rs 100, around 6 percent higher. NITCO is a Mumbai-based tiles & marble manufacturer.
Purple Wave
Mansukhbhai Kurjibhai Khunt sold 85,000 shares (0.92 percent) at Rs 126 per share while Bhavna Hitesh Patel bought 55,000 shares (0.59 percent) at Rs 126.34 per share. Shreni Shares offloaded around 1.62 lakh shares (1.75 percent).
Autoline Industries
IndiaNivesh Renaissance Fund sold 2.36 lakh shares (0.55 percent stake) at Rs 80.50 per share. At close, the Maharashtra-based auto engineering firm was trading at Rs 78.40 (1.42 percent stake)
Krishival FoodsIndia SME Growth Fund – Series 2 bought 30,000 shares at Rs 115.08 per share.
Kotyark Industries
Promoter Bhaviniben Gaurang Shah sold 72,000 shares (0.70 percent) at Rs 408.34. At close, the stock was trading at Rs 405, around 1.45 percent lower. Prior to this Shah, held around 50.26 percent stake.
