Synopsis
Axis Mutual Fund has temporarily suspended subscriptions to three overseas fund-of-fund schemes, including Global Equity Alpha, Global Innovation and Greater China Equity schemes, effective May 13, 2026. All new lump sum, SIP and switch transactions after 3:00 PM will be rejected, while existing SIPs will be paused and refunded promptly.
Axis Mutual Fund has announced the temporary suspension of subscriptions to units in Axis Global Equity Alpha Fund of Fund, Axis Global Innovation Fund of Fund and Axis Greater China Equity Fund of Fund with effect from May 13.
The fund house, through a notice-cum-addendum, said that no lumpsum subscription, switch-ins, systematic transactions and fresh registrations of systematic transactions into the Scheme(s) shall be accepted post 3:00 PM on May 13, 2026, and all such transactions received shall be rejected.

All systematic transactions that are already registered would remain active in the system, including the transactions received till 3:00 p.m. on May 13, 2026, in accordance with our addendum dated May 5, 2026. The same shall be paused and shall not be triggered or processed till further notice, Axis Mutual Fund further said.
Any SIP instalments deducted post the Effective Date shall be refunded within applicable timelines. All other terms and conditions of the SID & KIM of the Scheme(s), the Fund remains unchanged. This notice cum addendum forms an integral part of the SID & KIM of the Scheme(s), the Fund as amended from time to time.

Earlier on May 5, 2026, the fund house said that no lumpsum subscription, switch transactions and fresh registrations of Systematic Transactions into the Scheme(s) above Rs 1 lakh per PAN per month shall be accepted in the Schemes from the commencement of Business hours, i.e. 9:30 AM on May 5, 2026, and all such transactions received shall be rejected.
Axis Global Equity Alpha Fund of Fund had an AUM of Rs 2,290 crore as of April 30, 2026 and gave a return of 30.87% in the last one year. Axis Global Innovation Fund of Fund had an AUM of Rs 831 crore and delivered 36.85% return in the last one year.

Axis Greater China Equity Fund of Fund had an AUM of Rs 3,858 crore and gave a return of 58.23% in the last one year.
Apart from these three international funds, the fund house manages three other international funds - Axis NASDAQ 100 US Specific Equity Passive FoF, Axis S&P 500 ETF FoF, and Axis US Specific Treasury Dynamic Debt Passive FoF.
