
Andhra Pradesh farmers can breathe a sigh of relief! A much-needed consignment of 10,350 metric tonnes of urea has arrived at Gangavaram Port, a week ahead of schedule, announced Agriculture Minister K. Atchannaidu on Thursday.
The swift delivery, facilitated by the central government in response to the AP government's request, is a significant win for the state's agricultural sector. Originally slated for arrival on September 6th, this timely delivery, imported through Indian Potash Ltd., ensures crucial support for the Kharif season.

Minister Atchannaidu assures farmers: "There's no need for concern about urea availability. Sufficient quantities will be supplied for this Kharif season. However, I urge you to purchase only what you need immediately for your current crops, and not stockpile for the Rabi season."
