The Hotel Polo Towers IPO is a book-built issue comprising a fresh issue of up to ₹300 crore and an offer for sale of up to 7,120,030 equity shares with a face value of ₹2 per share. The company filed its DRHP with the SEBI on September 27, 2025.

Hotel Polo Towers Ltd. was incorporated on February 7, 1986, as ‘Tibrewal Holdings Private Limited’ in Shillong, Meghalaya. It later transitioned to ‘Hotel Polo Towers Private Limited’ in 2006 and finally converted into a public limited company in August 2025.

The headquarters of this company is in Shillong, from where they have grown from a single landmark property to become the largest hotel group in Northeast India by number of hotels. Its evolution has been closely tied to the development of tourism in the region, having pioneered the upscale hospitality segment in Meghalaya when the infrastructure was still in its infancy.

Hotel Polo Towers Ltd. owns and manages 9 boutique hotels and resorts in five states. Apart from the luxurious hotels, the company also focuses on its culinary expertise, which includes 17 in-house restaurants and two standalone restaurants.
