Tata Motors Commercial Vehicle, or Tata Motors CV, has launched an open offer of Italian automotive company Iveco Group shares at €14.1/ share. In an exchange filing issued on Saturday, September 5, the Mumbai-based company said that Tata Motors CV and Iveco Group jointly announced the commencement of a voluntary tender offer by TML CV Holdings B.
V. for all issued common shares of Iveco Group at €14.1 per Common Share, in cash. As per the company statement, this offer pegs the value of the Italian transport vehicle manufacturing company at approximately €3.82 billion. Tata Motors CV added that it has signed a debt commitment letter with Morgan Stanley Bank, N.
A., Morgan Stanley Senior Funding, Inc. and MUFG Bank, Ltd. for fully committed bridge financing. Italy's Agnelli family-owned Exor, Iveco's largest shareholder, has also irrevocably committed to support the transaction. Exor has tendered its 27% stake in Iveco's common shares & 43.19% of its voting rightsIn addition to that, this offer received full and unanimous support and recommendation from the Iveco board.
Furthermore, the tender offer opens on Monday, September 7, and Iveco shareholders will vote on the matter in October. This open offer is, as the statement said, intended to achieve the acquisition of 100% of the Common Shares and the Delisting of Iveco Group from Euronext Milan.

The figure rose to 44,411 units in August 2026, compared with 29,863 units in August 2025. With this new move, the company will look to expand its global scale. In August 2026, Tata Motors’ international commercial vehicle business recorded a 227% YoY increase in August 2026.
The sales number rose to 7,792 units from 2,382 units a year earlier. This was the highest growth among the reported CV categories in percentage terms. The company is part of the Tata Group and manufactures utility vehicles, pick-ups, trucks and buses.
Its commercial mobility operations cover India and South Korea, with a global presence across Africa, the Middle East, Latin America, Southeast Asia and SAARC countries.
