The domestic equity market is expected to open in the red on Thursday, July 23. The GIFT NIFTY futures suggest that the NIFTY50 index will open 107 points lower.

Higher crude prices are typically negative for sectors such as oil marketing companies (OMCs), aviation, paints and tyres due to increased input costs, while upstream oil producers may benefit from firmer crude realisations.
Brent crude rose $1.93 to $96 a barrel, its highest since June 8.
The company had posted a consolidated net profit of ₹1,409.6 crore in the corresponding quarter last fiscal.
Its consolidated revenue in the first quarter stood at ₹8,070.5 crore against ₹8,545.2 crore in the year-ago period, it added.
Total expenses in the quarter under review stood at ₹3,375.6 crore compared to ₹3,115.2 crore, the company said.
Commenting on the results, Dr Reddy's Laboratories Co-Chairman and MD GV Prasad said, "Our Q1 FY27 performance reflected the expected transition beyond lenalidomide revenues, along with an unexpected impact related to semaglutide API".
The bank, in its earnings release, said that net profit for the quarter ended June 30, 2026, stood at ₹656 crore as against ₹607 crore logged in the year-ago period, registering a growth of 8.05% year-on-year (YoY).
The company had posted a consolidated net profit of ₹25 crore in the corresponding quarter last fiscal, Eternal Ltd said in a regulatory filing.
Consolidated revenue from operations in the first quarter of FY27 stood at ₹20,211 crore as compared to ₹7,167 crore in the year-ago period, it added.
The city-based lender had reported a net profit of ₹604.07 crore in the year-ago period, and ₹594.17 crore in the quarter-ago period.
"... the strategic actions undertaken over the past year have materially strengthened the quality of our balance sheet, earnings profile and operating platform. We are entering FY27 from a position of greater resilience, with stronger fundamentals and improving business momentum," its managing director and chief executive Rajiv Anand, who had to be brought in after the exit of Sumanth Kathpalia amid allegations of fraud and malfeasance against bank officials last year, told reporters.
The multi-year contract marks a “significant milestone” for the partnership between HAL and Safran Aircraft Engines, an official statement said.
The contract was signed by Praveen B, General Manager, Foundry and Forge Division, HAL, and Dominique Dupuy, Senior Vice President, Purchasing, Safran Aircraft Engines, in the presence of Ravi K, Chairman and Managing Director, HAL, and Jayakrishnan S, CEO (Bengaluru complex), HAL, at the Farnborough International Airshow on Wednesday.
The company had posted a net profit of ₹258 crore in the April-June quarter a year ago, according to a regulatory filing from United Spirits Ltd (USL).
Its revenue from operations was up 4.98% to ₹6,113 crore in the June quarter under review. It was ₹5,823 crore in the corresponding period of the previous fiscal.
USL's total expenses were up 4.63% at ₹5,781 crore in the June quarter.
Total income of USL, which includes other income, was up 7.66% at ₹6,335 crore in the first quarter of FY27.
The partnership will be implemented through two strategic JVs focusing on high-voltage liquid-cooled traction inverters, traction motors and generators for electric and hybrid four-wheelers and larger vehicle applications, and the other one on air-cooled traction inverters, traction motors and generators, and e-Axles for electric and hybrid two-wheelers and three-wheelers, the company said.
By combining DENSO's technology leadership in electrification, advanced product engineering, and R&D capabilities with Sona Comstar's proven engineering excellence and deep understanding of the Indian automotive ecosystem, the partners aim to build scalable, cost-efficient advanced electric and hybrid powertrain solutions, it said.
The company had posted a net loss of ₹15.74 crore in the April-June period a year ago, according to a regulatory filing by the Raheja family-promoted retail chain.
Its revenue from operations increased 11.22% to ₹1,291.41 crore in the June quarter of FY27 compared to ₹1,161.08 crore in the corresponding period a year ago.
Shoppers Stop's total expenses were up 10.38% to ₹1,315.86 crore in the June quarter of FY27.
Total income, which includes other income, was ₹1,296.83 crore in the June quarter, up 10.73% compared to the year-ago period.
The facility will manufacture advanced data centre connectivity products, including Miniature Multi-Fiber (MMC) and Super High-Density Multi-Fiber Termination (SNMT) assemblies, which are widely used in high-speed data centre and AI infrastructure, the filing said.
"The Board has approved the setting up of a state-of-the-art manufacturing facility for Data Centre Connectivity Products with a capacity of 2,70,000 assemblies per annum at an estimated capital outlay of ₹215 crore," HFCL said.
