Sensex Today | Stock Market LIVE Updates, Tuesday, Aug 11, 2026: The benchmark indices, Nifty50 and the Sensex, fell as hopes for a deal between the US and Iran dimmed. As of 12:00 PM, the Nifty50 fell 144.15 points or 0.59 per cent to 24,439.65 and the Sensex was down 465.85 points or 0.59 per cent at 78,076.59.
Tata Consumer Products, Max Healthcare Institute, and UltraTech Cement were the top losers in the Nifty50 index. In the broader markets, the Nifty MidCap was down 0.02 per cent, while the Nifty SmallCap was up 0.32 per cent. Sector-wise, the Nifty Private Bank, the Nifty Bank, and the Nifty Financial Services underperformed, while the Nifty IT and the Nifty Metal outperformed.
