The shares of Skipper jumped over 2% on Wednesday, September 23, after the company announced it had bagged multiple orders in the power transmission & distribution segment worth ₹797 crore. In an exchange filing issued on Wednesday, the Kolkata-based transmission and distribution company said it had secured fresh orders worth ₹797 crore for domestic and international Power T&D projects.
The company said the orders include exports of transmission towers and monopoles for Power T&D projects in Australia. In addition, it secured a domestic 765 kV transmission line project from a reputed domestic developer. Sharan Bansal, Director of Skipper Limited, said: " The receipt of new orders aggregating to ₹797 crore across both domestic and international markets further strengthens our presence in higher-voltage transmission infrastructure and reinforces our focus on technically complex T&D projects.
"Bansal further added, "We are particularly encouraged by the growing traction in our international business, with developed markets such as Australia gaining momentum. Our expanding presence in these markets, supported by our capabilities across high-voltage transmission structures and solutions, provides an opportunity to participate in larger and more technically demanding projects.:"Skipper Ltd Speaks To CNBC-TV18In August 2026, Sharan Bansal, Director of Skipper, told CNBC-TV18 that he expects the company to return to 20% revenue growth from 2027-28 .
This growth is expected to be aided by stronger export orders, improved execution and expanding margins, said Bansal. The company maintained its 15% revenue growth guidance for the current year, along with a 30% growth target for the bottom line.“Execution is very much back on track, and we maintain the 15% guidance for the full year very much intact,” Bansal said, while speaking to CNBC-TV18.
He also went on to add that the company remains optimistic about returning to 20% growth from next year. Earlier this year, in August, the company had bagged a similar set of orders, in which it was entrusted with the supply of transmission towers and monopoles for T&D projects in North American markets.
Along with that, it also secured two 765 kV transmission line projects from a domestic developer. Stock movementWhen we look at the company's shares, the stock price of Skipper has surged over 2.5% in today's trade. In the past 6 months of trading, the company's shares have jumped over 73%.
The stock has closed in the green only on 3 out of the past 10 sessions. The current share price stands just 6.61% below the stock's 52-week high mark of ₹616 per share.
