Oil-marketing companies on Saturday (August 1, 2026) reduced prices of commercial liquified petroleum gas (LPG) cylinders by about ₹200 per cylinder across the country making it the second such downward revision since the probable easing of the conflict in West Asia.
Although, price of aviation turbine fuel (ATF), or jet fuel, were increased by ₹5 per litre to ₹115 per litre for domestic scheduled carriers.
Further, the price of domestic LPG remains unchanged on Saturday (August 1) although the price of 5-kg free trade LPG cylinders – primarily catering to migrant workers – also declined about ₹46 per cylinder.
Latest Commercial LPG prices
The non-domestic LPG cylinder in Delhi now costs ₹192 lower at ₹2,738 per cylinder.
The 5 kg FTL cylinder has also become ₹46.5 cheaper at ₹762 per cylinder in the national capital.
Mumbai woke up to a ₹194 per cylinder fall in price of non-domestic LPG. It would now be sold at ₹2,691.5 per cylinder.
Price of the non-domestic variant of the bottled hydrocarbon gas declined ₹200 per cylinder in Chennai and is now available at ₹2,906 per cylinder.
Among the major metros, Kolkata observed the steepest fall of ₹209 for every 19-kg cylinder. It is now priced at ₹2,872.5 per cylinder.
Second decline in price of commercial LPG since West Asia crisis
With the latest revision, price of the 19-kg cylinder meant for commercial and industrial consumers has declined about ₹380 per cylinder across two tranches.
On July 1, price of the 19-kg commercial LPG cylinder was reduced by about ₹183 per cylinder refill.
Prior to this, amidst the pressure on supplies of bottled hydrocarbon gas, prices of commercial LPG cylinder were hiked by about ₹1,345 per refill across four tranches since March 7.
Price of FTL has also cumulatively been reduced about ₹60 per cylinder across the two tranches.
