Punjab National Bank reported an 11.95% year-on-year rise in global business to ₹31.20 lakh crore for the half-year ended September 30, 2026, according to provisional business figures submitted to the stock exchanges. The bank's global business stood at ₹27.87 lakh crore as of September 30, 2025, and ₹29.98 lakh crore at the end of June 2026.
On a quarter-on-quarter basis, global business grew 4.06%. PNB deposits rise nearly 10% year-on-yearPNB's global deposits increased 9.90% YoY to ₹17.77 lakh crore as of September 30, 2026, compared with ₹16.17 lakh crore a year earlier. Deposits rose 3.03% from ₹17.25 lakh crore at the end of June.

Domestic deposits stood at ₹17.12 lakh crore, up 9.44% from ₹15.64 lakh crore a year earlier and 2.49% from ₹16.70 lakh crore in June. Global advances grow 14.8%The bank's global advances rose 14.80% YoY to ₹13.43 lakh crore at the end of September, compared with ₹11.70 lakh crore a year earlier.
Advances increased 5.46% from ₹12.73 lakh crore at the end of June. Domestic advances stood at ₹12.59 lakh crore, registering 12.59% annual growth and 4.55% quarterly growth. PNB's domestic business rises 10.75%PNB's domestic business grew 10.75% YoY to ₹29.70 lakh crore as of September 30, 2026.

It was ₹26.82 lakh crore a year earlier and ₹28.74 lakh crore at the end of June. The bank's global credit-deposit ratio stood at 75.56%, compared with 73.81% at the end of June 2026 and 72.33% a year earlier. PNB said the figures are provisional and subject to review by the bank's Statutory Central Auditors.
