The company stated steam supply volumes remained resilient despite a difficult start to the quarter, growing 11.52% QoQ and 16.70% YoY in Q1 FY27. The growth reflected the strength of the company’s business model and customer relationships.

However, Steamhouse India maintained its steam margins through its pass-through mechanism, under which changes in coal costs are passed on to customers in line with the terms of its Steam Supply Agreements. This mechanism, he said, provides stability to margins despite fluctuations in fuel prices.
