Suzuki has been known to make one of the most celebrated lifestyle off-roaders in the automotive industry. We’re talking about the Jimny lifestyle off-roader which has a cult following across the world. There are fan fests like JimnySunlight 2026 where Suzuki often showcases modified versions and off-road concepts.

The company showcased one such build at JimnySunlight 2026, called Gozel Outdoor Concept and was very well received by the audience. The reception to it was so overwhelming, Suzuki decided to launch a styling kit based on that build, called Jimny Gozel kit. It has been launched in Japan in partnership with AWIN.

New Suzuki Jimny Gozel Kit

There are many styling upgrades on the Jimny Gozel kit and many of them are inspired by Jimny Nomade Monster Hunter Wilds Edition Concept which was showcased at 2026 Tokyo Auto Salon. Pricing for Gozel kit is between JPY 269,500 (Rs 1.59 lakh) for Jimny Sierra and JPY 275,000 (Rs 1.62 lakh) for Jimny Nomade.

Individual parts offered in Gozel kit can be bought separately too. Prices vary between JPY 33,000 (Rs 19,500) and JPY 66,000 (Rs 38,930). Bookings for Jimny Gozel will open on July 24th, 2026, and it will be offered alongside other kits like Craggy Style, Rhino Style, Urban Edge Style, Nostalgic Line Style, Metal Style packages.

As part of the Jimny Gozel kit made in collaboration with AWIN, Suzuki is offering Aluminium type front bumper insert, a different skid plate with red highlights, classic honeycomb grille with SUZUKI lettering, metallic-like accents on side skirts and rear bumpers, contrasting red mud flaps, a custom spare wheel cover with GOZEL branding.

There is a subtler GOZEL badging on front bumper too, housed on the Aluminium type front bumper insert. During the purchasing process, buyers can select Gozel kit under Suzuki Select Plus accessories banner. It has to be noted that only the Jimny Sierra and Jimny Nomade get Gozel kit and Kei version of Jimny does not.

Will it launch in India?

In India, Maruti Suzuki has been offering Jimny only in the 5-door version and we only get two trim levels with it, one engine option and two gearbox options. In terms of sales, Jimny is one of Maruti Suzuki’s least-selling vehicles, second to only Invicto. If we take June 2026 as an example, Maruti sold 354 Jimny in India resulting in a 4.58% YoY decline and a 31.4% MoM decline.

A styling kit like this could spruce up sales in India and we wish Maruti Suzuki updates Jimny in India and boost sales. Just offering the classic grille with SUZUKI lettering as standard might help. Giving people features like ventilated seats and sunroof or giving it a price cut might make more buyers consider Jimny over its immediate rivals. Sticking with Gozel kit, Maruti Suzuki is less likely to offer it in India.
