Info Edge, the parent company of Naukri, has revealed a restructuring of its leadership, appointing Naresh Chand Gupta, the former Managing Director of Adobe Systems India, as an independent director, and Himanshu Agarwal as the new Chief Financial Officer .
Naresh Chand Gupta will join the board of Info Edge on October 1 for a five-year term, pending shareholder approval. He is currently affiliated with Accuracap Technologies and Accuracap Consultancy Services and holds independent director positions on the boards of eClerx Services and NoPaperForms.
Previously, he served as an independent director at Info Edge until March 2023. In parallel, Agarwal will assume the role of CFO starting September 17 and will also be appointed as an additional director on the board. He is expected to become a full-time director and CFO, contingent upon the necessary approvals.
This leadership transition will also result in Ambarish Raghuvanshi stepping down from his position as Info Edge’s interim CFO. Raghuvanshi, who has been in this role since November 2025, will complete his tenure on September 16. Nevertheless, he will remain connected to the company as a finance advisor until October 31, assisting with the transition and handover to Agarwal.
Info Edge has also appointed Agarwal to its Risk Management Committee and Business Responsibility and Sustainability Reporting Committee. The company stated that these leadership modifications aim to enhance its financial and leadership capabilities as it continues to prioritise its internet businesses and technology investments.
The shares of Info Edge slipped in trade on Friday's trade, slipping over 1%. On the other hand, in the past 6 months of trading, the company's shares have seen a surge of 32%, taking the total stock price to ₹1,250.90 per share, which is below the 52-week high mark of ₹1,433.60 per share.
