From back offices to AI hubs: India now hosts half of global GCCs, says CEA Nageswaran

CEA V Anantha Nageswaran said India has over 2,000 GCCs employing more than 2 million professionals, with revenue above $60 billion.

"Two decades we two decades ago we had a handful of back offices, today it's more than 2,000 such Centers," said the CEA.

India hosts half of the world's Global Capability Centres.

India is 2nd largest base for enterprise AI talent.

GCCs employ over 2 million, contribute 2% to GDP.
