Ather 450X Overtones Series Launched - New Colours, Faster Charging

As per the company’s listing on the website, there are three new Overtune colourways available with 450X. These include Space Grey, Lunar Grey and Still White. These new Overtones shades with Ather 450X cost an additional Rs 1,000 over the standard colours (Rs 1,52,499) which are Cosmic Black and True Red, along with optional colours like Stealth Blue and Hyper Sand (Rs 1,53,499).

These new Overtones colours for 450X bring a dual-tone treatment that Ather did not offer before. The scooter now looks a lot more sporty and even gets more youthful graphics including the large 450 sticker on side body panels. There are bright contrasting trims too, Red with Space Grey, Yellow with Lunar Grey and Green with Still White.

Apart from the new colour options for Rs 1,000 extra, Ather has updated the 450X scooter with a bunch of upgrades to offer a better experience to buyers and owners. For starters there is AtherStack 7, which was first unveiled at Ather Community Day 2025.

AtherStack 7 brought features like CrashAlert, ParkSafe, LockSafe, Infinite Cruise, and Voice on Ather for voice commands, among others. Ather also announced introduction of a new 900W fast charger for 450X which aims to reduce charging times by 30%. However, the company does not mention whether it is standard or optional extra.

Speaking of optional extras, Ather 450X Overtune Series does not get AtherStack Pro as standard and it still costs Rs 23,500. Most of the features that a prospective buyer is impressed with, are locked behind AtherStack Pro. These include Magic Twist, Google Maps, Tow and Theft Alerts, FallSafe, Park Assist, Auto Hold, Riding Modes, Auto Indicator Cut Off, Find My Scooter, Document Storage, Find Nearby AtherGrid and more.

Mechanically, Ather 450X Overtune Series is identical to standard model as it more of a aesthetic options for additional Rs 1,000 alongside the introduction of faster 900W charging and AtherStack 7. Battery packs are still 2.9 kWh and 3.5 kWh, promising range of 126 km and 161 km. The Aluminium spaceframe, edgy design, 7” TFT touchscreen, 12” wheels, front and rear disc brakes, 22L boot and other elements are carried forward.
