The markets regulator, Sebi, has given the go-ahead to ICICI Prudential Asset Management Co, one of the largest fund houses in India, for its maiden public offer.
As part of the public offer, Prudential Corp Holdings of the UK, the joint venture partner of ICICI Bank in the AMC, plans to sell a portion of its stake in the company, aiming to raise around Rs 10,000 crore. The public offer is expected to open on December 12.
